Acceptable use policy

Milunu makes warm, family-friendly picture books for young children. Everything you type or upload must fit that. This policy is part of our terms of service.

Not allowed, anywhere in an order

This covers the child's name, "from", the dedication, the special detail and any photo.

• Sexual, sexually suggestive, explicit or nude content of any kind (NSFW).
• Violence, weapons, gore, self-harm, drugs, alcohol or anything scary or unsafe for a young child.
• Hate, harassment, bullying, insults or content that targets anyone for who they are.
• Real or public people other than the child, and brands or characters from shows, movies, games or books.
• Links, email addresses, phone numbers, advertising or anything unlawful.
• A photo of a child you are not the parent or guardian of, or a photo of anyone else.

What we don't do

• We don't swap faces or edit photos. A photo you upload is only turned into a short text description of hair, skin tone and glasses, then deleted. It is never used to make an image.
• We don't generate images from free-form prompts. You choose from our options and may add one short detail, such as a favorite toy.

How we enforce it

Every piece of text you enter is screened by an automated moderation service before anything is made, and the special detail is checked again by us. Text that doesn't pass is refused before you pay. If something gets through, we cancel the order and refund it. We may refuse service to anyone who breaks this policy.
